Without volunteers helping at our 3 locations we would be unable to provide the services we currently provide to our clients, which is why we need more volunteers! As our ministry grows, our need for volunteers grows as well.

There are a number of ways to get involved as a volunteer at A Woman’s Choice Resource Center & Necole’s Place.

Volunteer Opportunities at Necole's Place: 

• Receptionist - answering phones
• Working in children's ministry
• Providing lunches for women in the GED program
• Tutoring
• Fitness Instructors
• Bible study teachers
• Mentoring
• Computer instruction
• Cleaning
• Website upkeep

Volunteer Opportunities at AWC:

• Counseling women in crisis pregnancies 
• Front Desk and Administrative work
• Sorting and organizing donations
• Translators
• Prayer Warriors in the prayer room

“Last Fall I heard God speaking to my heart, urging me to get out of my comfort zone. I wasn’t exactly sure how He wanted me to do that.

I had been a volunteer worker in the nursery and preschool departments at my home church for many years. I had also tried being a Sunday morning Greeter for a short while. But I sensed God saying He wanted to stretch me further.

God calls us all to be stretched. I find much more joy and adventure when I accept God’s invitation. He can accomplish His purpose through me, if I let Him. But it is not about me - it IS me, becoming who He planned for me to be - His hands and feet on this earth.”
